A Dundee dancing duo have become world champions after winning first place in a street dance competition.
Ana Devine and Oliver Nisbet, who competed in the under 8s category, won their prize at the UDO Street Dance World Championships in Glasgow at the weekend.
The pair practice their art at the Lochee-based Addicted 2 Dance group.
A number of other individual dancers, pairs and teams from the group also won prizes at the championships.
Laura Nisbet, who runs Addicted 2 Dance, said: “We are really pleased with the results.
“The kids have all worked really hard and we’re all happy and exhausted. We had so many winners, who were up against tough competition.”
The full results for the group were: Ellie Meldrum, under 16 beginner, 6th place; Ana Devine, under 8 beginner, 4th place; Oliver Nisbet, under 8, intermediate, 2nd place; Oliver Nisbet and Ana Devine world champions; Eva Devine and Brianna Mitchell, under 10, beginners, 4th place; team Loyalty, under 10 intermediate/advanced, 6th place; team Unleashed, over 18, 8th place.
The competitors were aged between seven and 21, and battled for prizes in their respective age groups against movers and shakers from around the world.
Addicted 2 Dance is based on Lorne Street in Lochee and hold classes, workshops and camps for the dancers.
