Roof debris removed by fire crews

Firefighters were called to remove debris from the top of a property in Dundee’s Taits Lane in the Hawkhill area of the city on Friday evening.

Two appliances including an aerial ladder platform were in attendance after the alarm was raised around 7.15pm.

Firefighters removed the debris in response to a safety concern.

Drinkers in the nearby Campbeltown Bar got a bird’s-eye-view of the action.

The lane was sealed off while the debris was removed.
