The holder of a £1 million winning EuroMillions ticket bought in Dundee has less than three weeks left to claim their prize.
The wining ticket won the £1 million plus a luxury safari after it matched the UK Millionaire Maker code XRVT 79106 in the March 28 draw.
Prizes must be claimed with 180 days of the draw taking place, which means the ticket holder must make their claim before September 24.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at The National Lottery said: “Time is fast running out for the winner, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the prize.
“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing EuroMillions ticket could be hiding.
“This life-changing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.”
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the deadline then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
In the Dundee area nearly 1200 individual National Lottery grants have been awarded to help projects across the arts, sports, heritage, health, education, environment, charity and voluntary sectors.
Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0844 338 7551 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk
