A sports car ended up wedged under a crash barrier following an accident near the Tay Road Bridge on Wednesday morning. The incident involving a blue Porsche happened on the A92 Dundee to Glenrothes road just south of the crossing at about 9.25am. Police and paramedics rushed to the scene following reports that a man had collapsed after the crash. A spokeswoman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “The police called us out at 9.34am and we got there at 9.44am. “Initial reports were that a man had collapsed and passed out but on arrival he was actually okay. “We treated him at the scene and did not need to take him to hospital.”
