Slim Jim Phantom, famed as the drummer of Stray Cats, will join the English group on stage at the Caird Hall on January 27 next year. The Brooklyn musician spearheaded the neo-rockabilly movement in the 1980s and has also worked with Phantom, Rocker and Slick. The Damned formed in 1976 and kick started the goth punk movement, going on to inspire a huge number of bands and musicians. They were the first punks from the UK to release a single, an album and to tour the US. The Damned’s 11th studio album is being released to coincide with the Evil Spirits UK tour. Tickets for the January show are on sale here.
