The incident, involving a Vauxhall Astra and a Renault Captur, occurred on Riverside Avenue just after 2pm. The Captur suffered extensive damage in the collision. It understood fuel has spilled onto the road and an ambulance attended the scene. Traffic heading into Dundee was delayed. One woman was said to be in shock but was not thought to be seriously hurt. Scottish Fire and Rescue were called to the scene to help make the vehicle safe.
