Organisers are hoping for another big turnout at Alzheimer Scotland’s Memory Walk in Dundee this weekend.
The walks are held across Scotland every year and have already raised over £300,000 for people with dementia.
Over 200 people took part in Dundee Resource Centre’s walk last year, and there are hopes that number might be exceeded on Sunday.
A spokesman for Alzheimer Scotland said: “There are over 90,000 people living with dementia in Scotland, and tens of thousands of unpaid carers, often partners and family members, supporting them.
“The idea behind this event is for families to come together and make memories with their loved ones, while raising funds to support the work of Alzheimer Scotland.”
The Dundee walk is in Baxter Park and begins at noon.
Anyone who wishes to take part can register on the day.
