A 15-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man have both been charged in connection with a series of break-ins to shops across Dundee and Invergowrie. Police Scotland said the teen would be reported to the Youth Justice Assessor while the 21-year-old man will appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday. There have been a number of raids on small shops across the Dundee area in recent weeks. The Invergowrie branch of ScotMid was allegedly broken into in the early hours of Wednesday morning. In Montrose, two beauty shops on Castle Place and John Street were targeted by thieves who allegedly stole a three-figure sum of money on October 5. Mortalli Newsagents on Charleston Drive in Dundee was targeted twice in the space of a month. A wholesalers on Nobel Road in the Wester Gourdie Industrial Estate was also subject to a break-in on October 8.
