A Christmas market filled to the brim with local goods and produce will aim to bring a bit of festive cheer to the West End this winter.
Proposals have been lodged with Dundee City Council detailing plans to use the former stables at Taypark House for a festive pop-up shop in December.
Taypark House owner Richie Hawkins, who submitted the plans, hopes to have the pop-up shop up and running by November 30 if they are given the go-ahead.
There had been plans submitted last year to convert the stables into a restaurant, but these were withdrawn.
Mr Hawkins said in the long-term there were ideas to convert the stables into cottages available for rent in the grounds of the historic converted mansion house.
