Police have released images of two men they wish to speak to in connection with a robbery outside Tesco Extra on South Road.
Mark Coats has spoken out after he said he was hit on the back of the head with a brick on Sunday night shortly after 5.45pm.
Mr Coats was then threatened by two men, who made off with his black Adidas rucksack and money.
The 45-year-old, who was walking home at the time, said they stole the only money he had on him – 35p.
Police have released images of two men they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
The first man is described as aged between 16 and 18d, of slim build and was wearing a black hooded tracksuit top with a white logo on the centre at chest height, black tracksuit bottoms with a white logo on the upper left leg.
He was also wearing black trainers and black puffy-style gloves.
The second man is described as aged between 16 and 18, had dark hair with a fringe, a grey hooded top with black toggles on the hood and a black V shaped line across the chest and grey tracksuit bottoms, white socks and dark Adidas trainers.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We have released CCTV images of two men we wish to trace to assist with our inquiries in relation to a robbery which took place between South Road and Charleston Drive, Menzieshill, at around 5.45pm on Sunday November 26.
“We would ask anyone who recognises these men to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting CR/30939/17, or alternatively information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
