Staff, young patients and family members have united for a heartwarming rendition of classic Christmas carols at Ninewells Hospital.
Santa and one of his elves showed up to spread festive cheer at the reception area of the Dundee infirmary for the Jingle Bells event on Thursday afternoon.
Old Saint Nick egged on the crowd for renditions of songs including 12 Days of Christmas, We Wish You A Merry Christmas and White Christmas.
Santa also handed out Christmas presents to patients from Tayside Children’s Hospital in the crowd.

He then switched on the lights of the Ninewells Christmas tree.
Locality site-support services manager Shona Leonard said: “In keeping with the true spirit of Christmas it was lovely to join in with the children, patients, staff and visitors and enjoy the carol singing and visit from Santa at the Ninewells festive light switch on.”
