TIMELINE: How Marie Low’s killer Siobhan Russell was brought to justice

A Dundee woman has been found guilty of killing young Dundee mum Marie Low.

Siobhan Russell will be sentenced in January after being found guilty by an Aberdeen High Court jury of a lesser charge of culpable homicide. She had originally been charged with murder.

The killing happened in Ballantrae Terrace in the Douglas area on September 4 2016.

A woman has been charged after a young Dundee mum died in Douglas on Sunday. Police were called to Ballantrae Terrace around 3pm on Sunday following reports of a disturbance.

A Dundee woman has gone on trial accused of murdering a mum-of-four. The High Court in Aberdeen heard Siobhan Russell had been involved in a number of arguments with Marie Low over rumours she was working as a prostitute.
