Police held up traffic on the busiest road between Dundee and Perth on Friday afternoon. Officers were spotted apparently searching along the A90 near Invergowrie just before 3pm. Officers were spotted walking on the embankment alongside it. The force also checked along the westbound side of the road. One passerby said they appeared to be “searching” the area. The police have been approached for comment.
