Customers and staff of a Dundee furniture store have been left in the dark after the shop shut down days before Christmas and has remained closed since.
Furniture Mountain in the Kingsway retail park has been closed since December 21.
The company owns four stores across Scotland, all of which appear to be shut down.
A sign on the front door in Dundee said the shop would be re-opening following the festive period but the shutters are still drawn and no sign of any staff can be seen inside the building.
All calls to numbers known for the company are remaining unanswered and it is understood staff were informed via text message on December 21 their contracts had been terminated.
Customers who have placed orders with the company have been left out of pocket, after paying deposits, or in full, for items which are yet to be delivered to them.
The company website remains live, but appears not to have been updated since before Christmas and the organisation’s social media pages have disappeared from Facebook and Twitter.
The Courier contacted the man listed on Companies House as the firm’s director David Chillas, at his listed address but he was unavailable for comment.
