Man found dead in Invergowrie home

A man has been found dead in his home in Invergowrie.

Police, forensics teams and ambulances went to the property on Main Street at around 11am on Tuesday following reports of a sudden death.

The man’s exact age is unknown, but he is believed to have been in his 40s.

Police said they were not treating the death as suspicious.

A spokesman said: “Police Scotland attended at Main Street, Invergowrie at 11am following the sudden death of a man in his 40s.

“There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and as with all sudden deaths a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.”
