A police forensic team launched a probe at a popular Dundee park following an ‘incident’ in the grounds.
Officers were in attendance on Saturday at Orchar Park in Broughty Ferry but little is known about the nature of the call out.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing two forensic tents erected in the area but police have so far not said whether anyone has been hurt.
One man who was in the area at around 8.30am on Saturday said: “It looked as if an area of the park and some trees had been cordoned off.
“There was two blue tents set up and it looked as if they were behind a house. The area with the trees had police tape around them and there was a police car guarding it.”
A spokesman for the force said: “We are currently dealing with an incident which occurred in Orchar Park in Broughty Ferry.
“Police will be in attendance in the park during today however we wish to stress there is no wider risk to the public.”
