Fire crews rushed to put out a fire in a waste bin at a block of flats in Dundee city centre on Sunday night.
A total of three appliances were sent to North Lindsay Street at around 8.30pm to tackle the fire, which crews believe to have been caused by “careless disposal” of rubbish.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We received a call at 8.29pm regarding a fire in a waste bin at a property on North Lindsay Street, Dundee.
“A strong smell of smoke was reported on the second floor landing of the building.
“The fire was extinguished and we received a stop message at 9.07pm.”
