Fife and rural parts of Angus and Perthshire appear to have received the heaviest downfalls, but even coastal areas and the city of Dundee saw a light dusting.
However, if you are a fan of the snow enjoy it while you can. The snow is expected to die off into mid-morning although cold conditions should see it linger in more exposed areas for most of the day.
