Three engines, including one large Bronto Skylift appliance, attended a call just before 9am. It is understood a fire alarm was tripped in an apartment close to The Trades House pub No-one was injured in the incident and the firefighters left the scene shortly after 9am, once the property had been ventilated of smoke.
