Two people were taken to hospital after a Dundee home was devastated in a blaze.
Four fire crews rushed to Melfort Place in Trottick just after 10.30am on Wednesday morning after reports of flames spreading throughout a home on the street.
Two appliances were called to the scene from McAlpine Road along with one from Blackness Road and another from Balmossie.
The incident took firefighters three hours to bring under control.
A fire and rescue spokesman said: “We got the call at 10.32am this morning, we had four appliances there. The stop message came back at 1.27pm.”
He could not confirm if a fire investigation into the incident was taking place.
Paramedics were called to the scene just after 10.30am and transported two people to Ninewell Hospital.
A woman is said to have been saved from a top floor room in the house by a window cleaner using a ladder.
