Police have launched an appeal for information after a car was set on fire in a Dundee park. The vehicle, thought to be a 57-reg Mercedes, was set ablaze just off Forfar Road in Caird Park at around 3.15pm on Sunday. The incident happened in the small car park. Fire crews extinguished the fire “quite quickly”, police said, but the car was destroyed. Anybody with information about the incident can call 101 or speak with any police officer. Information can also be given anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111. The reference is incident 2558 of February 18.
