Racing fans are being invited to an evening of entertainment where charity will be the main winner.
Abertay Rotary Club has organised a race night to back Alzheimer Scotland in its work supporting people living with dementia across Dundee.
It comes after club members attended a dementia awareness session and were determined to think of ways to help.
Gareth Scott, from Abertay Rotary Club, said: “We were inspired by the work of Alzheimer Scotland locally and wanted to do something to help raise vital funds to support the work of the charity.”
Dementia adviser Nadia Sutherland said: “We are very grateful. Monies donated from the Rotary’s fundraising efforts will help us to ensure that nobody faces dementia alone and for us to continue our work in supporting people living with dementia and their families across Dundee through our services.”
The race night, also in aid of Rotary charities, is on Friday March 2 at the Broughty Golf Club in Monifieth.
For more information and tickets phone Mr Scott on 07749 319002 or Mrs Sutherland on 07771 358843. Tickets are £8, which includes a sandwich buffet on the night.
