Alex Salmond forced to cancel Dundee show

Former First Minister Alex Salmond has been forced to postpone his stage show in Dundee on Friday because of the poor weather.

Salmond Unleashed will now take place at the Caird Hall on April 27.

Mr Salmond said: “It is very disappointing because we had great audiences for each show and a really fantastic cast.

“However, we would have had to ignore the Scottish Government’s sensible travel advice to bring in the cast and crew and this we could not really do.

“The problem is not really the weather in Dundee but more that many of the audience and cast are travelling from around the country.”
