A Chinese takeaway was broken into during the early hours of Tuesday and a quantity of cash stolen.
Police Scotland is appealing for information about the break-in at Dryburgh Street, which happened between 3am and 12.45pm yesterday.
The front shutters to the shop were forced open to gain entry, and a small quantity of cash was stolen.
Police would like to trace a man, described as wearing a grey McKenzie hooded top and dark trousers with two horizontal hi-viz stripes on the lower legs, who was seen acting suspicious nearby.
