A man has been rescued from a river embankment in Dundee after apparently becoming stuck.
Fire crews rushed to Strathmartine at around 5pm on Saturday to rescue the man, who was standing in the Dighty Water near Grants Craigmill Caravan Park.
He apparently could not climb back out and crews had to use ladders and throw-lines to reach him.
Two water rescue teams and two pumps were in attendance at the incident. The man was assessed by paramedics and was unhurt.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “A man has been rescued after becoming stuck down a river embankment in Craigmill in Strathmartine.
“We attended at 4.56pm and received the stop call at 5.37pm.”
