Police are hunting a man who sexually assaulted a woman on a Dundee street.
The incident took place on Blackness Road, near the junction with Rosefield Street, on Monday, April 2 at 9.30pm.
The 40 year old woman was walking along the road when a man approached her and sexually assaulted her.
She was uninjured but left “shocked”.
The man is believed to be in his mid-20s, has short, blonde hair and was wearing a grey hoodie.
A Tayside Police Division statement said: “Police Scotland is appealing for information after 40 year old woman was sexually assaulted on Blackness Road, adjacent to Rosefield Street in Dundee on Monday, April 2 at 9.30pm.
“The woman was walking along the street when she was approached by a man and thereafter sexually assaulted. She was shocked but unhurt by the incident.
“The man is described as being aged around mid-20s, with short blonde hair, wearing a grey hooded top.
“Anyone with any information that may be useful should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting CR/7914/18 or speak to any police officer.
“Alternatively information can be passed anonymously via the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
