A £1 million lottery ticket purchased in Dundee has still to be claimed with the mystery winner left with just one month to claim the huge prize.
The ticket won the EuroMillions draw on 14 November last year but after six months the prize can no longer be claimed with the money dished out to charitable causes instead.
This leaves the unwitting millionaire until May 13 to claim with the National Lottery urging players to check and double-check their tickets one last time.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money.
“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing EuroMillions ticket could be hiding.
“This life-changing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there.”
EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker guarantees to create two millionaires in every draw.
For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket.
The winning Millionaire Maker code for the unclaimed Dundee prize is TZFN 99040.
