A Dundee call centre has been evacuated due to flooding concerns. Police and firefighters were called to Tesco’s customer engagement centre on Baird Avenue at noon. Two appliances were sent from McAlpine Road and the building was evacuated as a precaution. A fire and rescue spokeswoman said: “We are in attendance there at the moment, there is no further information. It is an on-going incident.” A police spokesman confirmed officers were sent to the call centre and that there had been “trouble with flood” there. He added: “We were called up. Just as a matter of precaution the place has been evacuated.”
