The Active Schools Volunteer Awards took place at the Apex Hotel at the weekend, honouring the best volunteers who promote sport opportunities for school pupils in the area.
More than 160 people attended the ceremony, which was opened by a display from St Paul’s Academy Dance Group – winners of the Dundee Secondary School Dance Competition.
James Fenna, Active Schools manager, said: “The work volunteers are doing in our schools is very important. It gives children and young people across Dundee the best start in life, creating a lifelong love of sport from an early age.”
