Comedian Bill Bailey’s live show will be coming to Dundee next year.
The show, Larks In Transit, will arrive at the Caird Hall on Wednesday May 29 2019, with tickets going on sale from this week.
Larks in Transit is described as “a compendium of travellers’ tales and the general shenanigans of twenty years as a travelling comedian”.
With musical virtuosity, surreal tangents and trademark intelligence, Bailey tackles politics, philosophy and the pursuit of happiness.
Plus, he fashions a symphony from a ringtone, tells the real story of Old McDonald and a re-imagines the Stars and Stripes.
Beyond his long-running stand up career, Bailey is best known for his 11-series stint on BBC comedy panel show Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
Bailey has also made numerous acting appearances on screen, including in television sitcom Black Books, as well as feature films Hot Fuzz and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
Tickets will be on sale from Thursday, May 24, at 10am, available from Dundee City Box Office.
