Sections of Scotland’s first urban aqua park have arrived at a wakeboarding centre on Dundee waterfront.
An inflatable obstacle course complete with a large chute appeared in the water at Foxlake’s City Quay site on Thursday morning.
The park will include eighteen floating pieces, including “ninja runs” and bridges. It is due to open on June 30.
Foxlake Dundee announced the arrival of the aqua park earlier this week, stirring up a huge amount of excitement among locals.
The custom-made park will test users’ balance and agility as they attempt to make their way across the inflatable course without falling into the water.
The newly-arrived inflatable was being tested on Thursday afternoon.
The park will be able to accommodate up to 24 people at a time. Sessions will run seven days a week from 9am – 8pm.

Wet-suits, helmets and buoyancy-aids will be provided by the centre, with sessions initially lasting for one hour.
Foxlake moved to Dundee more than a year ago and was awarded a five-star tourist attraction rating by VisitScotland in May.
Earlier this week Callum Mark, director of Foxlake Adventures, said: “We are really looking forward to launching our new urban aqua park, featuring a mix of challenging obstacles and slides which are loads of fun for both kids and adults alike.
“It’s also really exciting to have one of the first aqua parks in the UK to be based in a city environment.
“We are confident our fun-filled floating playground will complement all of our other watersports including wakeboarding and ringo rides and make for a great summer day out for the whole family.”
Booking details and more information are available on the Foxlake website.
