A champion wakeboarder, who has become the first Scottish girl to represent Britain in the European Championships, showed off her impressive skills to Dundee pupils.
Eve Smith-Lang, aged 13, from Dunbar, has been picked for the GB team after taking up the sport through Active Schools.
The programme has now been launched at Craigie High School, Camperdown Primary School and Morgan Academy.
Eve started wakeboarding at Foxlake Adventures when it opened in Dunbar five years ago, aged eight.
The programme aims to provide opportunities for children to take part in higher-quality sport before and after school.
On Thursday nine female pupils from Craigie High watched on as she carried out a series of impressive tricks and stunts at the City Quay wakeboarding centre.
Eve said: “I’m just trying to show them what can be achieved. When I was eight – I was in primary four – I’d done Active Schools myself.
“I tried it for a four-week taster session and after that I just completely fell in love with it.
“From the very first day on the water I loved it and knew this was going to be a sport that would become my passion.”
