Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education in Dundee is hosting its first national postgraduate student fair next month.
Representatives from 16 Scottish Higher Education institutions will be attending the July 6 event, which is open – with free entry – to current students, recent graduates or anyone who is interested in postgraduate study.
“This is the first Scottish national student fair we have held and we are delighted that all of Scotland’s universities have committed to attending,” said Dr Abi Abubaker, College Secretary.
“The fair coincides with the college summer school that we have organised for 75 overseas female students, who will also be at the event.
“Overall, it will be a strong showcase for the range of postgraduate opportunities currently available in Scotland, including our programmes and courses.
“Throughout the year we enjoy academic collaborations with other universities including guest speakers for our Open Lecture series.
“We hope our first fair will be a success and that those attending find it interesting and helpful.”
Students from all universities are welcome to attend the event, which runs from 1pm to 4pm.
The University of Aberdeen; Abertay University; University of Dundee; The University of Edinburgh; Edinburgh Napier University; University of Glasgow; Glasgow Caledonian University; Heriot Watt University; University of the Highland and Islands; Queen Margaret University; Robert Gordon University; The University of St Andrews; University of Stirling; University of Strathclyde; University of West Scotland and Al-Maktoum College of Higher Education will be represented.
