A man was assaulted and robbed last Sunday on a Charleston path by a group of men – one of whom had samurai tattoos.
Police are currently searching for three men in connection with an assault on a pathway between South Road and Forth Place just after 6pm last week.
The victim, a 40-year-old male, suffered minor facial injuries as a result of the attack.
He had his mobile stolen, before the cowardly thieves made off.
The first of the group – a male in his forties wearing a tracksuit with sleeve tattoos featuring samurais, dragons and fish – is described as 6ft 1in tall and well-built, with short dark brown hair shaved at the side and gelled forward on top.
The second male is described as being white, in his early to mid-30s, around 5ft 8in and of slim build with mousy brown hair with a centre parting.
The third man is also white, around 5ft 8in all, of average build and in his early to mid-30s.
Detective Constable Paul Hardie said: “We are asking for help from the public after this unprovoked assault and robbery in Dundee.
“In particular we would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or believes they recognise the three men described to come forward.
