A 26-year-old man has suffered life threatening injuries in an accident involving a lorry in Dundee.
The incident took place around 8.15pm on Thursday on the northbound carriageway of Forfar Road, near a garage.
Police and ambulance personnel attended and traffic was diverted from the area. The road was closed at the Kingsway with diversions in place to the Fintry roundabout.
Police have now confirmed that a 26-year-old male pedestrian sustained serious life threatening injuries following the accident and are appealing for witnesses to provide information.
