Police were called to a close in the street around 8.30am on Monday. The man was later arrested close to the Hawkhill Medical Centre. One woman who witnessed the incident said: “There was some kind of police raid happening at the bottom of Peddie Street “Lots of police cars went down without sirens and then I saw them bundling someone into a police van just behind the Hawkhill Medical Centre.”
