A man stabbed in Dundee’s Hilltown on Tuesday has been discharged from hospital.
The 37-year-old was injured at the foot of the Hilltown around 4.10pm.
Witnesses said the incident occurred after an argument between two men.
Police Scotland Detective Sergeant Graeme Wishart said: “At about 4.10pm, police received a report of a man being stabbed on the Hilltown at its junction with Victoria Road.
“A 37-year-old man was injured and has been conveyed to hospital by ambulance.
“We are still trying to establish the full set of circumstances and identify the person or persons responsible.
“We believe this was an isolated incident. It has happened in broad daylight so we are pretty sure there will be people who have seen the incident, and we would like them to come forward.
“If anyone has witnessed this incident, or perhaps has driven past and has dashcam footage, please call 101 or speak to any Police officer. Our reference is CR/19114/18.”
Police sealed off a large section of the Hilltown at Victoria Road while inquiries into the incident began.
Several officers were seen running through the Wellgate Centre in pursuit of the suspect.
