A man has been charged following an alleged stabbing in Dundee City Centre.
A 35-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident on the Hilltown on Tuesday evening.
A 37-year-old was injured and taken to hospital following the alleged attack at the street’s junction with Victoria Road at about 4.10pm.
A Tayside Police Division spokesman said: “Police Scotland can confirm that a 35-year-old-man has been arrested and charged in connection with the stabbing incident at the foot of Hilltown, Dundee, on Tuesday, August 7.
“He is in custody and is due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court tomorrow (August 10).
“Inquiries into the incident are still ongoing, and we would like to ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information related to it, to please contact us by calling 101 or speaking with any police officer.
“Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers on 0500 888 111. Our reference is CR/19114/18.”
