A car crashed into a Dundee shop on Friday morning leaving two people with minor injuries.
A white Volkswagen Polo careered into Next at the Gallagher Retail Park at around 9.30am.
Three pensioners were taken to Ninewells Hospital after the incident.
The driver reportedly lost control while driving through the car park before colliding with the shop window.
A police spokesman confirmed the force is in attendance with the driver and a passenger treated at the scene. An ambulance and fire engine were present.
Fire crews secured the glass as well as cutting and removing the two bollards that were flattened as a result of the incident.
One eyewitness, who was driving into the car park just as the car hit the windows, said the car was driving slow when it smashed the glass and it didn’t look like the female driver or passenger were badly injured.
Staff at Next said they do not expect to close, unless firefighters tell them the damage makes the building structurally unsound.
The staff member did admit the store expects to have a reduction in customers due to the tape restricting, although not eradicating, access to the store.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: “We received a call at 9.36am to attend an incident at Gallagher Retail Park in Dundee.
“We dispatched two ambulances and a manager to the scene. Three patients, two females and a male all in their 70s, were transported to Ninewells Hospital.”
