A man was subjected to a terrifying attack in a Dundee street by a weapon-wielding gang.
Three men reportedly smashed the window of the victim’s Ford Transit Connect van while it was parked on Kilberry Street, between Gardner Street and Fullarton Street, on Tuesday at around 8.15pm before attacking him.
He was then chased down Kilberry Street towards Coupar Street but managed to get away without being seriously injured.
A spokesperson for the Tayside Division of Police Scotland said: “We have already spoken to witnesses and are following a positive line of enquiry, however we would still like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the relevant time.
“This incident took place in a busy street in the early evening, and it is hoped there were members of the public nearby who may have seen all or part of this incident.
“Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting CR/20894/18, or speak to any police officer.
