Police are investigating after a cyclist was allegedly assaulted on a busy Dundee road.
The man is said to have been “pushed off” his bicycle and into metal bins on Lochee Road, near to its junction with Dudhope Terrace, at about 3.40pm.
He was then “further assaulted”.
The cyclist was not badly injured.
Police are hoping to trace a woman who helped the man and who claimed to have footage or photographs of the incident.
The assault is said to have taken place on Thursday, August 30.

Tayside Police Division statement read: “Police Scotland is appealing for information about an incident which happened in Lochee Road, Dundee, near to the junction with Dudhope Terrace, about 3:40pm on Thursday, August 30.
“A cyclist was allegedly pushed off his bike into some metal bins and then further assaulted by another man. Fortunately he was not badly injured.
“Officers are following a positive line of inquiry, however are keen to trace two women who came to the assistance of the cyclist, and claimed to have photographed or filmed part of the incident on their mobile phones.
