Police were called to Harlow Place following reports of a “distressed” man at about 1.45am. Officers traced him “safe and well” – after which he was taken to Ninewells Hospital. Tayside Police Division said: “During the early morning of Friday, October 5, police were called to an incident in Harlow Place, Dundee. “Officers engaged with a distressed male there and he was traced safe and well. As a precaution he was taken to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee.” Inspector Martin Pattie added: “Given the time of incident, there was minimal disruption to residents and the general public. “I would like reassure the community that at no stage was there any danger to members of the public.”
