The biggest-ever Dundee Jazz Festival begins today at venues across the city.
Running until Sunday, the event will see musicians from the US and Argentina as well as the UK perform at locations including the Gardyne Theatre, The Reading Rooms, Clarks, The Wine Press, The Underworld Café, DCA, V&A Dundee and venues in Broughty Ferry.
Scottish-American singer Ali Affleck and leading trumpeter Colin Steele launched the event on Tuesday.
The pair are playing V&A Dundee on Wednesday evening in a show paying tribute to Billie Holiday.
