Thieve stole a four-figure sum of money after breaking into a Barnhill pub in the early hours of Monday morning.
Thieves broke into The Barn in Campfield Square around 1.30am and also tried to force their way into Lee’s Chinese takeaway.
They managed to make off with a four-figure sum of money from the pub.
Officers investigating the crimes are keen to speak to three men who were seen in the area around the time of the incidents.
All three were wearing dark clothing.
A Tayside Police Division statement reads: “Police Scotland is appealing for information after a break-in to The Barn public house and an attempted break-in to Lee’s in Campfield Square in Dundee.
“The incidents happened at around 1.30am on Monday, November 26.
“Thieves made off with a four figure sum from the pub.
“Officers are keen to trace three men wearing dark clothing seen in the area at the time of the incidents.
“Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting CR/28856/18 or speak to any police officers.
“Alternatively if you have any information about the incident you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form at crimestoppers-uk.org.”
