The first saw traffic grind to a halt on the Eastbound carriageway of the A90, towards Dundee at Longforgan shortly before 5.45pm. Less than two hours later a second collision occurred, this time on the Westbound carriageway of the same road close to the BP garage at Bullionfield. The disruption from the first crash was cleared by 6.30pm, with traffic flows quickly returning to normal. Officers from Scottish Fire and Rescue and the police were still in attendance near the Swallow roundabout at 7.45pm.
