More than 40 Dundee properties are without power following an outage of service in the city centre.
Engineers were called out to reports of a loss of power affecting Bell Street, Euclid Crescent and parts of Victoria Road at 10.42am on Wednesday.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) said it is working on an update on the number of properties affected but believes as many as 46 homes and businesses are currently without electricity.
Affected areas in Dundee city centre are expected to remain without power well into the afternoon, with engineers estimating supply will be restored at around 2pm.
SSEN insisted its priority is to restore power to its customers as soon as possible.
A spokeswoman said: “We’d like to apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused and thank them for their patience as our engineers work to safely restore their power as quickly as possible.”
