The body of a woman has been discovered in Dundee.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of the 61-year-old, who was found at around 8.30pm near Eden Bank in Stobswell.
Five police cars and an ambulance were seen in the area on Wednesday night.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We can confirm that following concerns being raised for the welfare of an individual in Eden Bank, Dundee, about 8.30pm on December 5, the body of a 61-year-old woman was found in a parkland area nearby.
“Enquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances, but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances, and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.”
