Spice Girl Mel C is to perform a DJ set at Dundee University Students’ Association (DUSA) on Friday.
Melanie Chisholm will become the first Spice Girl to perform in Dundee when she headlines DUSA’s “Refreshers Week” celebrations.
The event, which takes place in The Union, is open to the public but photographic proof of age will be required to gain entry.
The Spice Girls are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and will perform live for the first time since the London Olympics opening ceremony in 2012.
The six original tour dates sold-out within minutes, prompting the group to add additional dates in Manchester, London, Coventry and Cardiff and Dublin.
Ticketmaster reported that at one point they had over 700,000 people in an online queue for Spice World tickets.
The Spice Girls’ debut single Wannabe went to number on in 31 countries and the Spice Girls went on to sell over 85 million records worldwide, making them the best-selling female group of all time.
Tickets for the Mel C Party Mixtape DJ Set cost £12 and are available from the DUSA website.
