Ant Middleton.
Ant Middleton.

The star of a hit Channel 4 series is bringing his show to Dundee during a tour of the UK.

Military veteran Ant Middleton, who is the chief instructor on TV’s SAS: Who Dares Wins, will be at the Caird Hall on September 19 as part of the Mind Over Muscle run of shows.

Mr Middleton has written a best-selling book and also stars in Mutiny and Escape.

He will be in Aberdeen and Glasgow during a run of shows in April, with the September dates added due to “phenomenal demand”.

Mr Middleton will discuss the challenges he faced behind the scenes of SAS: Who Dares Wins and his own Mount Everest expedition.

The show also promises to take the audience through a “motivational journey of self-help and self-discovery”.

Mr Middleton said: “I am so excited to take my brand new show on the road in 2019. I want to bring my recent expeditions to life and show how mental strength can help  overcome huge challenges.

“The mind is stronger than muscle and I promise to take audiences on an incredible journey.”

Mr Middleton has a huge range of military experience, having achieved the “holy trinity” of the UK’s Elite Forces – selection to P Company, Commando Course and UK Special Forces.

The latest season of SAS: Who Dares Wins is currently playing on Channel 4 on Sunday evenings.
