William and Kate, the Earl and Countess of Strathearn, have arrived in Dundee to officially open the city’s landmark V&A design museum.

Kate, wearing tartan, and her husband were welcomed by Lord Provost Ian Borthwick, V&A Dundee director Philip Long and V&A London director Tristram Hunt.
A large crowd braved chilly and damp conditions to watch their arrival at Dundee waterfront.
Inside, the royal couple were greeted by pupils Sean Edgar and Debbie Gray.
Kate told them she has “never seen a museum like this”.
The royals also met and congratulated architect Kengo Kuma on his achievements.
